This is the front cover image I have created. I wanted it to be flashy, bright and classy and I feel that it does do this. The text is bold and makes a statement. The text reminds me of the writing you see for a new movie coming out it is big, noticeable and prominent on the page the black and silver theme I feel adds a touch of class to the cover. It’s shiny and new and I believe this make it looks very professional and once again prominent on the shelves. It definitely contributes to the overall impact of the front cover and catches the audiences attention.
I wanted Kelly to be the main focus and so when I created this I chose an image that largely featured her (me). The front cover of a pop CD needs to appeal to its audience and the only way that I could achieve this was by selling the artist. My target audience want to know about the artist and when they see this image they will be drawn in. The name of the artist and the image of her are the two things that will work together to grab the attention of the audience. If they are already fans of Kelly and her music then just seeing her face and name and the fact that she has a new album will be enough to draw them in. I made her eyes very blue so that they captivate potential buyers. It really is very prominent and would make you stop and notice it. It is the final touch I added to make the front cover all the more outstanding and audience grabbing.
